I was in Chicago for a film festival, and staying in The Loop where my room overlooked the venerable Chicago Theater and State street.   My favorite thing to do in the evenings is to open the windows and take in the sights urban forest below.   This was a late night iPad painting that feels like it was painted with post it notes.  If my painting teacher, Sunny Apinchapong, convinced me of anything, it was the idea of painting with small notes of color, like this.
