Taos, New Mexico is another world.  This was painted from a photo, and the extreme contrast made the subject feel hot, like it was painted in the heat of the day.  Truth is, I painted it in an air conditioned studio on an iPad.  I love technology, and the ability you have as an artist to express not only the subject, but the time of day and the temperature of the air.
