Based on an original idea by Disney Animation legend Joe Grant, Lorenzo tells the story of a rambunctious cat and his tale, which has a mind all its own.  Released in 2004, the film was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.  It won the 2005 Annie Award for Best Animated Short Subject and earned director Mike Gabriel the coveted Grand Prix award at the Annecy Film Festival. Don Hahn served as producer of the short.
